Laservue TV

lasertv

Mitsubishi’s LaserVueTM Laser TV harnesses the power of the world’s purest light source (laser) to deliver two times the color of many of today’s HDTVs. Laser beams provide an extensive range of rich, complex colors, truly distinct clarity, and immersive depth of field. LaserVue sets the new standard for large screen television by delivering unimaginable color at approximately one third the operating power consumption of similarly-sized LCD TVs and one fourth of plasmas. The set is only 10 inches deep.

Reviews have been fantastic for the laser TV by Mitsubishu, but it comes at a hefty price of around $6999, which is comparable to LCDS or Plasmas this size.
The advantages to this technology:
Have brighter vivid colors (display twice the amount of color from HD lcds or plasmas)
Where lcds or plasmas the colors may fade with age, this one does not.
 Less power consumption
 High contrast

2themancave gives this TV 2 thumbs up, now I wish I had an extra $7000 to buy one.

The Man Book by Otto DeFay

Posted in Things for the Man Cave on September 23, 2008 by mancaverblog

“This book contains everything you need to know to be a man.Everything. It will prepare you for every situation you can imagine, from the office to the bedroom. It will improve your life no matter what you’re doing…whether you’re in a bar, in a fight, in a wedding, in an argument, at a game, at work, or in a stranger’s bed.”

This book contains material that all men should know. It covers humorously at times  names for man’s private part, breast sizes, differences between scotch, whiskey, bourbon, etc, the super bowl, field positions, sowerbowl MVPS, poker, the basics of wine, and etc.

Its an interesting and entertaining book to read and will improve your manliness.
Thumbs Up for the Man Cave!

Beer Bottle Goblets

Another way to be green!

Taking recycling to the next level, Beer Bottle Goblets have been crafted from reclaimed Sol, Corona, Grolsch bottles. How? Glass artisans carefully cut away the base, polish the edges and then bond a base to the bottom  of the bottle to form a ‘foot’. The result is a green or crystal clear, satisfyingly sturdy goblet for your favorite suds. The Grolsch verion is probably the nicest, because of the shape & detail thats on the bottle. They have only 3 styles at the moment.

Great for your man cave bar!
